FiRa Consortium members choose to certify their UWB-enabled devices for a variety of reasons:

• Brings positive visibility to the member’s company, brand, and product(s)
• Allows for the promotion of certified devices for inclusion in the support of specific UWB-enabled use cases
• Provides original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with quick access to information on FiRa-certified modules or chipsets, helping to speed up the design of UWB technology into end-products
• Demonstrates that its devices comply with FiRa standards and will support device interoperability
